Michael Aquino Says MindWar Came From Esalen’s Transformation Project and the Russians

This is an audio excerpt for non-profit educational discussion purposes from an interview with the infamous Lucifarian, Lt. Col. Michael Aquino produced on 5/23/16 on the RonPaulOrDie channel.

Dr Michael Aquino authored a paper in 1980 when he was a Major and Director of Research for the head of PSYOPS at the Presidio SF, Colonel Paul Valley – now Fox News Military Analyst.

Aquino revealed here for the first time that Esalen founder Michael Murphy introduced him to Steve Donovan, who shared his para-psychology research from the Russians. Esalen spin-off the Transformation Project was the foundation of MindWar and the subsequent book.

‘MindWar’ Games by Col. Michael Aquino

The U.S. military’s chief intelligence officer who wrote the book on ‘MindWar’ is Col. Michael Aquino.  His social engineering methodology was mentioned above. Aquino was indicted, albeit never convicted, of serial assaults on children at the Presideo military base in San Francisco.

Aquino wrote for the 7th Psychological Operations Group, United States Army Reserve, from the Presidio in 1980. He produced the landmark advisory for the War College titled, From PSYOP to MindWar: The Psychology of Victory.

The term MindWar was coined a few years earlier by Aquino and fellow PSYOPs officer, Colonel Richard Sutter. After viewing the film Star Wars, the two military men applied the title MindWar to rebrand “the somewhat bland Army designation ‘Psychological Operations’.” This would appeal to futurists, Aquino wrote.

The “science-fictional treatment of MindWar, complete with a caricature of Sutter at its helm,” appears in Aquino’s Star Wars story The Dark Side, “available at www.xeper.org/maquino,” Aquino advertised. That link, including Sutter’s caricature, is still active after nearly four decades.

Expanding on this theme of engineering civilization to accept alternative realities, and also view realities alternatively; then recognizing this as an outcome most commonly praised by AI and ayahuasca devotees, Aquino’s futuristic MindWar is well represented in the ‘rave culture.’

Much like the motivation to achieve an alternative and more peaceful, liberal or progressive society, as described and prescribed by Sylvan in Trance Formation, Aquino advanced the same for MindWar games.

“The advantage of Mind War is that it conducts wars in nonlethal, noninjurious, and nondestructive ways.

“Essentially you overwhelm your enemy with argument,” Aquino explaied. “You seize control of all of the means by which his government and populace process information to make up their minds, and you adjust it so that those minds are made up as you desire.
